Common Android Problems and Fixes

Android is one of the most commonly used operating system at present. It is a very big platform for gadgets like Smartphone’s and tablets. Nowadays 70 to 80 % of the phones other than iOS are running on the android platform. Being a technologically upgraded tool, it also has some issues and problems. Some of the most common issues that are faced with the android system along with the solutions to fix them are given below

1. Battery life: battery life is one of the most common problems faced by android users. Even after so many complaints by the users regarding the battery issues, the system of android does not have a fix or solution to this issue. But to avoid this issue to some extent, the user’s can disable the unnecessary applications from the phone, they can timely refresh and clear the apps open on the background. Turn the location off. There can also be a battery issue with the battery itself, the user must check up on that also.

2. Memory problems: the android operating system has big memory issues; the data storage capacity is not always up to spec, depending on device. This can be solved by deleting unnecessary files from the phone, the SD memory card can be added in the phone for better performance, the data can be managed between the internal and external memory storage to fix this issue.

3. Unlocking the phone if pattern is forgotten: this is a security feature added in android system to provide protection to the data of its users by some kind of patterns or pin codes. If the user forgets his or her own passcode then it becomes an issue for them to unlock their own phone. This can be resolved with some different way, all the android users maximum use their Gmail accounts, if the user is connected with the Gmail account, then simply by typing the correct email id and password the user can recreate a new patter and unlock their phone.

4. Downloading application error: many times the android users face problems while downloading applications on goggle play or while updating the existing applications, but they are unable to do this. This can be resolved by performing number of things like, turn off your mobile phone and reboot it and try again. Get the APK file from some other android user and install the application or login with a new Gmail account to start the download. All these activities will possibly help in installing and updating applications.

5. Lock screen widgets: the android users commonly face problem at the time of adding widgets on the lock screen of their phones. This is basically an issue of initial android versions. This is a feature that needs access to work on. The user will have to go to the settings of their device and the enable the widgets settings from there; this will easily resolve their issue regarding the addition of widgets for their comfort on the lock screens of their device.
