Colour palletes, custom social menu and banner.
Bug Fixes
When no first content module to load is defined in the config file, it was intended that BlockPress would simply load the first thing in the menu. However, due to referencing a non-existant global, this functionality never actually worked.
I fixed this by changing the reference to the global config object in the init.js file. The first menu content will now load first if no first page is specified.
New Features
I also managed to add support for three new features, palletes, social menu options and customisable banner.
Palletes
Layout themes and colour palletes are now seperate concepts in BlockPress. This means switching layouts and changing colours are two seperate actions.
First, I added a pallete property to the config object. I then split the old dark theme into a new theme called simple and a new pallete called chocorange. I removed all the colour styles from the themes css file, leaving just the layout, and in the pallete I removed all the layout styles, leaving just the colours.
I then copied the chocorange pallete and editted the colours to create a light pallete called vanilla.
I left this issue open, as support for palletes still needs to be added to the other three themes.
Social menu config
All the themes had hardcoded links to various social media sites. I made these customisable by adding a socialmenu object to the config. I added classes to the theme templates identifying where the urls needed inserting, and then built the javascript that would add the urls after the theme had loaded. It will also hide the buttons for any options that aren't set.
Custom banner image config
@dana-varahi had added a banner image and wanted it to be customisable. I added the config option, created a css class as an hook and added the code that would insert the background to the element with the relevent hook. The idea is that the banner defined in the config will apply to any theme that supports banners, and will be remembered when the theme changes.
I left this issue open, as support for local path banners, and the site image option still needs to be tested and developed.
