Some pictures about beavers

The snow has not yet melted, and the beavers are already cutting down new trees for themselves. Their favorite delicacy is aspen.

Our all-familiar aspen is close relative tree with poplar and willow.

By the way, beavers also like willows very much. And here is the such willow, which our fur friends chewed:

In winter and the bark is suitable, not all young shoots regale.

See how many aspen trees grew on this slope, now they are reminded only of hemp, piled "under the pencil"

Beavers bring down trees not only on the slopes of their stream, but also in the distance. Here is the stump, and on the next standing aspen, the initial "cutting" is seen, it does not last long...

The same stumps are seen further - the fodder base of the animals is great, and, apparently, a considerable amount in this small ditch. In the absence of natural enemies and hunters, they live here freely.

Another stumps made last year. Part of the aspen is left grow for the future :)
