Morskie Oko, A Gem From the South!

Hi Everybody !

Morskie Oko, remember that name when you come visit Poland!

(All the pictures -except the Google Maps one are my capture and so I own the rights of them)

There are not many places as beautiful as this circuit of mountains. And I come from Argentina! (which...
if you didn't know, there is a hella lot of mountains... just check Cordillera Argentina)

Just to put things in context, Morskie Oko is at the south of Poland.

It is at only few kilometers from Zakopane (which is another beautiful town-city full of super expensive hotels and attractions) and at the border of Slovakia (I am not sure if it's at the side of Slovakia or Poland, I just know that the border is right there and defined by a river so if you know don't hesitate to correct me <3)

This time (and luckily enough as always) I traveled with my lovely girlfriend and a friend of her. These two little beauties were great companions!

It was a very nasty weather, but you know... the nastier it gets with snow the better!!

Except if you are camping at the top of the mountain...

...that won't end well.

As you know, I am living in Kraków and we have pretty stressful travel where my lovely lady drove the whole way (I didn't because I am a pussy and I don't have European driving license).

It been 150km (because the way is very wavy) of A LOT of ice, snow and many car accidents all around the route.

Once we arrived the temperature was -16º, but we were very well dressed and started moving pretty fast!
(If you never been in such lower temperatures, my advice to you is to move a lot, constantly and keeping the rhythm,
so your body will warm up in 10 to 15 minutes).

Suddenly a tiny snowstorm arrived to us and we could enjoy the wild nature for a while, even tho' this is not real wild nature since we had a road built -and even some people were taking some kinda "horse-taxi" to the end and top of the path-

But enough words, let me show you what I mean with REAL BEAUTY:

And so we arrived to the Shelter (where we ended up eating like pigs om nom nom nom)

Such a beautiful day for beautiful long memories!! We are gonna repeat that <3
