Because sometimes you just need to do boring stuff, in order to get better.
(All the images are my own creation and so I own the rights of them)
I just wanted to share with you a study I just finished from the online course Fundamentals of Lighting from Sam Nielson. Pretty boring to do, but needed in order to succeed as artist.
The lesson was about how light hits a body and how it generates different effects on it. For that it was needed to paint the whole thing from zero, and therefore this was pretty challenging.
The texture at the right of the object was the hardest one. Still, pretty fun to do.
Not fun, I know.
Tomorrow I am sure I will bring you something more fun that I am already working on.
