Having a dog morning and some thoughts
Well I don't. Most of you probably don't care and that's fine, I wouldn't want to watch a 4 minute video of a random person interesting with their cats
I get it. We are cool if you don't watch this. But I also get how there's some people around here that love dogs and any chance of watching a dog video is a non-wasted one.
I was dubious about uploading this kind of videos where I don't really add much to the Blockchain or the community - well duh, yeah, it's only a dog video - and I would also drop the quality of my posts. On the other hand, there's so much FUD around steem and cripto in general that it makes me feel we are being drawn into a whirlwind of negative emotions, opinions and actions, leading the community into a vicious circle.
Let's bring some positivity to the chain, don't listen to FUD. Now I'm not saying everything is fine and there's nothing to criticize or improve on our chain but, do we seriously need to be so negative and pessimistic about it?
No, we don't. In fact, it's harmful for our mindset to only see the dark side of the coin - pun overly intended. So here you go, if you want to clear your mind for a few minutes and watch some doggos be happy playing ball with me, check out this video.
First we arrive to the secluded natural area in town, where I was pretty sure no other dogs or people would be. I let them get warm cause I don't want them to hurt themselves. Now it's time to play with the tennis balls. Only Denzel the Belgian Shepherd and Alai the Schnauzer like to play ball, Fiona the great Dane is too silly to know what we are doing, she just follows Denzel around. After playing for around 20 minutes we go under the shadows for a bit and the go for a walk - this is important because you want them to lower their heart rate slowly, not let them play a lot and then lying down in the shadows. After a while of walking around, we decide to head back home.
It's not the best video, but it's definitely a candid one :) I hope you like it and it takes your mind off of the negativity going around our community!

Dog's hate me, lol, but I can objectively see that some of them are cute.
Ahaha I grew up with dogs so I love them, perhaps they don't hate you they just sense you're not used to being around them 🤷 for example I don't like cats and the feeling is mutual haha
You're right. They can smell my apprehension. The fact that I expect them to hate me, makes me act strange, and they act strange.. and it all just spirals out of control haha.

Ahahaha not at all! The redish Belgian Shepherd is Denzel, the black one is Alai and the grey/black is Fiona, but nice try! Yeah, this was yesterday's morning, but I'm taking them out everyday (or at least I try to) because it's good for them and it's a great way for me to start the day!

I remember when I first started on Steemit about a year ago there were several people that were just posting pictures of their dog or they were making posts pretending to be their dog and they were pulling some really decent rewards doing it. I mean like $40 to $50 per post. Being new I thought, I have a cute dog, I can totally do that. Needless to say, no one was really that interested at all in my dog. It's a shame too, they missed out on some really cute pictures. Plus I am still here and now they are potentially gone and when things turn around they are really going to be the ones missing out. That's the hope anyway! :)
It reminds me when I had dogs while in school. My parents would ask me to go to the finca and get plantains and I used to take then with me. They would have a blast roaming free and chasing chickens!

And fuk it, its dogs...You can not post enough dogs even if it will reduce the quality of your average post... just do it :)

Maybe I am just a contrarian, but Ive been more positive about Steem the past couple of months than I have since I joined.
The amount of progress that is being made on a daily basis even in a bear market is remarkable.
My only complaint with the video is you should have made it a cute cat video. If I learned anything from reddit and trying to gain internet "fame" or improve moods is with cute cat videos.
I used to play the same with my dogs, the different part is that I needed to run them to get the ball back, lol. hahaha.
I wasn't too convincing for them to make return the ball. :D
Dude, I always see folks talking about posts that do t add much to the chain. I’m one that thinks that these types of posts are equally as important as a technical post regarding the happenings in the community or a new dApp.
These posts give more of an insight as to who that person is and what they are about. I actually like peering into the virtual window and getting a glimpse of what life is like for each of us. That includes animals.
More of this brother.
