THORNS BENEATH A ROSE
It began when my seed was blown
Far away from my lovely home
They knew I finally got sown
Somehow, I became a rose.
As I arise, full of charm
Steal their fragile heart
With my aura so calm
They failed to see my obvious scars.
Far away from home
No one wondered how I'd grown
Fighting the world all alone
I won my breakthrough so
There is a story to tell
Though the world has failed to listen
For all has not been well
Although my colour glisten
While admiring my splendor
Look beneath my loins
There you'll find in horror
A valley full of thorns
Incase you admire this rose
Admire my thorns too
For the thorns produce the rose
And so will always do.
"But even after all my flaws, why do you stay?"
Because if I don't grasp past the thorns, then how will I reach the rose?"
Mehn.... You're book is dope.
I like this.
