I have just started reading ‘Start with why’ by Simon Sinek and (as you would expect) it has started me thinking about why I set out to write my daily journal, and whether I am still on track with my original vision. So, I now have all of my original notebooks out on my desk, ready to reacquaint myself with my original thoughts and ideas. Technology is wonderful, but nothing beats the insight you get when you turn back time by reading the words and emotions of your earlier self…
Thoughts become even more thought out, and ergo more thoughtful, when we write them rather than type them out. Our thoughts are best written down with ink rather than with electronics, methinks.
