More is Less. My Experience of Eating One Plant Meal a Day.

Have you ever thought that we eat too much?
Did you ever feel confused, bloated and heavy after a meal?
Have you ever looked in the mirror and felt displeased?
Did you ever feel that what we were told about food was not entirely correct?
Me too.

Isn't it amazing to know that we are free to choose how to relate to our Body, what and how to eat? Isn't it great to know that there are other ways to experience our beautiful Self in the world that keeps telling us how to be?

I cannot stop marveling at the possibilities we have these days, at the opportunities we are presented with, be it human or spiritual, not to mention the fun that we can have with it all.

So, as many of you remember - my entire life I was on a journey of restoring my immunity and chasing feeling-good. That gave me time to explore, experiment, and collect data. Exploring relationship with food was one of the aspects. Once I finally got over the diet trends, food pyramid lies, and calorie obsessing, I came to realize that Food Laws are far simpler than we were trained to think.

EAT WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY.
FRESHNESS IS THE FIRST CRITERIA OF FOOD.
FEEL GOOD ABOUT THE FOOD IN FRONT OF YOU OR SKIP IT.
SKIPPING MEALS IS GOOD FOR YOU.
STAY HYDRATED.
ALIGN WITH UNIVERSAL LAWS.
LISTEN TO THE WISDOM OF YOUR BODY.

That is it! Easy to grasp and practice once we let go of what we were told to believe.
I decided to follow the rules and that is when I found, what I think to be - the most intelligent approach to food.
Three years ago I was blessed to discover Amen Protocol (AP).

I was instantly drawn to the concept, it resonated with every point of my own research on keeping-healthy and feeling-good:

  • AP respects the laws of the Body and the Laws of the Universe.
  • AP activates our DNA, and therefore - our own self-healing abilities.
  • AP gives us the best experience of our Self!
    Something happens when we adopt this new extraordinary way.

I loved the idea so much that I started immediately.
I got a book called "Evolutionary Nutrition" by making a heart-felt donation to the author, and booked my appointment with god in a human form, illuminated and illuninating, remarkable human being - Dr. Amen Ra, originator of Amen Protocol.

Intermittent fasting was not new to me, neither was plantbased/vegan food, but eating once within 1-2 hours a day was totally new and exciting.
I became curious, as anyone who likes self-experimenting and researching.
I had the tendency to over-eat in my first few months, I also got off the track a few times and had snacks in between my once-a-day-meals, my greatest challenge though was to do the body work twice a day. It still is.

Eating once a day is just a small part of the whole concept of Amen Protocol.
What I admire the most about it - It invites us to practice awareness, to honor our physical form, and to align with Universal Laws.
Now that is a break-through, that is taking us far beyond counting calories and intellectualizing about nutrition!

Here is what those of us who embarked on this unique journey expereince:

  • Hightened sense of pleasure.
  • Slimmer, healthier, and more intelligent Body.
  • Stronger Immunity.
  • Glowing young skin.
  • Less need for sleep and more energy.
  • More time to enjoy life.
  • Increased sense of appreciation and gratitude.
  • New sense of calmness.
  • Deeper sense of connection to everything that IS, to infinite intelligence.

After three years of practicing Amen Protocol I noticed that my body is healthier and stronger at 50 than it was in my younger years - my immunity is strong, my edginess is gone, and I have a life that I always wanted to have.
Does it all contribute to AP? I don't know.
All I know is that shedding the layers of programming takes more than just changing our diet.
Feeling good and keeping healthy is far deeper subject than we tend to think.
It takes a commitment to our inner work, it takes discipline, it takes genuine curiosity, it takes a totally new approach to what we call Self and to the world we live in,... it also takes a connection, connection to the Higher Intelligence/Consciousness/Divine (whatever word you like)... and the way of Amen Protocol seemed to cover it all.
