Wine Tasting – Magnolia’s Corner
Magnolia’s Corner is on my top 5 list of wine bars in Portland. If you are fortunate to check out it, you’ll soon understand why it makes my top 5 list. Magnolia’s Corner is in the Hollywood district of NE Portland across the street from Hollywood Theater, It’s our go to place if our child is away, hints perfect weekend parent get away – wine bar check, and movie night check!
Grabbed our favorite seats and we fortunately made it in for wine tasting. This place is never lacking ambiance its always a night to write about in my option. A live cellist was playing in the background glasses were flowing, a little slice of heaven? Yes, indeed. My favorite was the Domaine de Couron 2012 Marselan; it was made with cool fermentation, blackberries, blueberries, and black pepper…excellent.
Best part of wine tasting, $10 off a bottle of wine to go. I have some very nice presents to gift this year. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere, and attentive waiters. What a lovely evening we had.
