Have A Vision

  

Helen Keller once said "The greatest tragedy in life is people with sight but no vision!", and I have to agree. Being able to "see" the things around you in your life is one thing, "Seeing" your life around you is something different altogether. We can set goals and have dreams, but they are separate things, having a "Vision" is combining the two!

Setting goals is usually based on the fact that we have several things or sets of things that we want to be do or have in life, and we usually set time frame to have them "achieved" within. Having dreams is much more loosely based on things that we want, but feel that attaining them will probably never happen. There is no time limit on a dream, because it's one of the "what if's" in our lives.

Now vision, vision is a combination of both goals and dreams and is accompanied by a passion and desire that is the fuel for these visions. Business owners have visions for their businesses, how they will grow and expand! Home owners (or soon to be home owners) have great visions for how their home will come together, what piece of furniture goes where, or what pieces should be bought.

Do you see the pattern? These are dreams we have and goals set in place to achieve them. The combination of the two is VISION!

Now, take your own dreams and the goals you have set, match them up where you can, then focus on the in the most positive light! Meditate on the combination; "feel" the desired outcome and the passion and fire it builds up inside you!
