Camera, Action - Truth, Cut @annadeda
Being a Paralympic medalist means that you always have to be in the spotlights and you should smile in front of a camera, even when you do not want to.
In this post I would like to share with you my experience of being interviewed by various TV and Radio stations. Depending on the channel and the reporter you have in front, there are two categories of interviews, which are : the real interview and the fake interview. I have experienced both categories.
To begin with, I would love to start with my favorite category, that of the real interview. Having a real interview is an wonderful experience, filled with anticipation, because you have no idea what the journalist will ask you. Many times it's due to the luck of knowledge that you have, that the reporter's questions surprise you and they make your heart beating loudly In every question. The reason I love this category is because not only the questions but even your answers are spontaneous. You can say what you think of the question freely, without anyone preventing you, or even not answering the question completely.
The second category is the fake interview. I called it a fake interview, because the journalist in front of you has let you know the questions you will have to answer either before starting the interview, or days ago. Only 20% of the answers you give are yours. The other is what they told you to say. These are the interviews that I hate the most and that when I am obligated to have them, I feel like throwing up.
Unfortunately, these are the most frequent interviews that I have to endure. If it was for me, I would never have an interview because my relationship with the camera is not that good. I think for a Paralympic medalist words are unnecessary on camera, because the medals he brought to his country speaks volume .
It is widely known that nowadays media has an incredible strength and we aren't capable of doing anything but to play their game.

Congrats on medaling and being a role model. Quite an accomplishment and responsibility. I hear you regarding the #fakenews thing. I was involved in professional politics for a number of years and that kind of stuff is why I left. #KeepUpTheGoodWork
@mkauai thank you so much!
