The day started rather gloomy today. The cryptocurrency market has not been great for the past few days and I have seen my cryptocurrency holding lost more than half of its value. I just hope that the following days we will see a recovery of the cryptocurrency market. Nevertheless there is something to be happy about this day. This is the first day my Step Mom will experience a payout from steemit. I am really excited for her since she is still a little bit in doubt that truly we can earn in this platform.
After gathering her SBD rewards for couple of days I traded it in Bittrex and exchange it to Bitcoins (BTC) to be sent to Coins.ph. Once I receive the BTC in Coins.ph I made a Cash out order in Cebuana since it is one the fastest way to receive the rewards that came from steemit.com. In 30 minutes we received an automated notification from Cebuana that the money has ready for pick-up in any of their remittance center. The nearest Cebuana branch is just one ride away and it took us less than 10 minutes to arrive.
Luckily there is not much people in the remittance center. My Mom immediately filled up the claiming document and presented her ID to the Cebuana clerk. They are still processing the remittances of the people ahead of us and we were asked to just wait for a couple of minutes for our turn. I sat on one of the chairs and waited. While waiting I thought posting the payout experience. I was snapping some pictures when the guard told me that we were not allowed to take pictures for security reasons.
After about 10 minutes the Cebuana clerk called out my Step Mom's name and together we approached the releasing section. My step Mom was in disbelief the whole time but was very much happy. Finally the clerk handed out the 3,000 Pesos remittance.
It might not be that much but it is more than she would earn from her current job in a month. She asked me if the accounts of my two steps sister had been approved already unfortunately it has been more than a week and there is not reply yet from steemit.com. Unfortunately we haven't receive any reply from the steemit. I hope it will arrive soon.
I am glad that I was able to bring in my Step Mom in steemit and soon my step sisters. as the old saying goes:
give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

So happy to you and you step mom! Indeed Steemit will be huge for a lot of people and when she is in that other country you and your step sisters can see how she is doing and that is monetized as well and earnnmore for her haha.
