It has been awhile since I have posted about cryptocurrency I have been busy with steemit community building that I hadn't had time to do one of the main reason why I joined Steemit: To spread cryptocurrency learning and earning opportunities to everyone not only the STEEM crypto (which I think is the best earning opportunity still) but other cryptocurrencies by trading, ICO participation and other forms of investments.

I have noticed a sudden spike in the price of Litecoin today and I wanted to know what caused this spike. It seems that one of the reason of this sudden surge of demand for Litecoin is the news that Litepay will be released soon to the public Feb 26, 2018. They seek to be a global Litecoin payment service provider similar to Bitpay. According to Bitcoinst website article it will be powered by Visa which is quite surprising to me as Visa as expressed a hostile stance against cryptocurrency. Nevertheless whether this is true or not this is really exciting times for litecoin and may help in the effort for mass adaptation.

Nice Info Thanks For Sharing...
What I don't understand about litepay is what value does generate to litecoin. Once lightening is fully implemented into btc, will reflect into ltc costs as well, right?
I held on to my litecoin. It would be cool if a card like this was operating. Thanks for sharing.
