This Is How You Love
You love more. And more. And more. Unconsciously.
You care, even though you don't usually let it show
You don't care about the distance actually. You care if he's telling the truth or not.
You love more if he's honest. And true to his words.
You love more if he's faithful and loyal.
Because you are. You so damn are.
You love only one person. And that love will linger on even if the other person isn't there anymore.
You don't get to move on easily. Even if you really didn't have a label in the relationship.
You fucking don't.
You cling to the relationship longer. Even if he's cut you off a long time ago.
Time doesn't really affect you. As long as you hold on to his words and promise. And if he proves it.
You fall easily. So fucking easily.
You don't get to have that much attention given to you. That's why you easily fall to someone who does.
You would really want to do anything that you can to save the relationship. Even if he's wavering.
So when you get hurt, you get so fucking broken to the point that you completely lose it.
You give your all when you love. So when he leaves, you'll lose yourself, too.
And you know so fucking well how hard it is to find your damn self in the first place.
So when he leaves, you're left there. Broken as fuck. Not knowing a damn thing. Not even moving at all.
You'll hate yourself. You'll hate him. You'll hate everything.
Then you'll begin to think about his reasons.
You'll try to justify his actions.
You will hope.
You will wait for him to return to you.
Which you fucking shouldn't!
But you can't fucking stop waiting.
Because until now, he's still the best thing that ever happened to you.
Your love for each other was real. You felt it. You fucking felt it.
So you hold on to that love. Even if the person already has found a new love, you still cling to that love. Because you never had that kind of love. And that was the best thing for you.
You search for the parts of the same love in someone who wants to get close to you.
And that's why you find it hard to move on.
Know this: YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THAT SAME KIND OF LOVE ANYMORE. AND THAT'S OKAY. BECAUSE WHAT YOU'LL FIND IS MUCH BETTER. MUCH FUCKING BETTER THAN THAT LAST LOVE THAT YOU HAD. AND THIS NEW LOVE WILL MAKE YOUR LAST LOVE BE ASHAMED TO BE CALLED YOUR BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO YOU. THIS NEW LOVE WILL KICK THAT LOVE'S ASS AND MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND WHY IT WAS A GOOD THING THAT IT ENDED.
YOUR LAST LOVE ENDED SO YOUR NEW LOVE COULD BEGIN. AND IT WILL BE THE REAL BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO YOU.
