Reading" in Three Colors
Reading is like staring at groups of letters and hallucinating."
Red, blue, and yellow. These are considered as the primary colors of the color wheel. Every other colors result from the combination of any two of those, which we call the secondary colors. The mixing and combining of these secondary colors results to the formation of tertiary colors, and the likes. This is what reading brings us. From the time when one starts to read, he feels a certain emotion towards that part. This emotion then starts to get deeper and deeper as the reader progresses until another feeling arises. One emotion will be mixed with another until the reader feels those mixed emotions only by reading a book.
How are these colors related to reading them? Simple. Each color somehow symbolizes a specific emotion or feeling or state of mind of a person.
Red represents love or anger, depending on the content of a part that one reads. Mixing it with blue which represents calmness or peace will produce green that symbolizes serenity. Even if the reader felt angry for the first part of what he reads; eventually, he will feel the calmness of the story, which will result to a feeling of being serene, and at peace. Those mixed feelings that one feels whenever he reads is engrossing and captivating, encouraging him to read further. It means that the piece is addicting. Colors are blasting everywhere. A person is able to feel emotions, sometimes one at a time, but often coming at the same time.
So if ever there will come a time when you think you are unable to feel, try reading. Image source:https://pixabay.com and https://giphy.com, https://steemit.com
