Troubles with squirrels #3 🐾
So, after ten days of fruitless attempts to catch squirrels, I am ready to announce: Squirrels have won! This means that I will have to clean their enclosure in more or less comfortable conditions, and go in there and collect all the old straw while the squirrels jump on me! (that’s exactly what they do) But I have to add a new straw to their enclosure and make their houses warmer, whether they want it or not! Forecasters say that next week the weather will get colder substantially. And the squirrels, these little destroyers, threw all the straw that was around their houses. It was good in the summer, but now they will freeze. So point number one of my plan for the week is to create warmth for squirrels!
Maybe some old blankets that they can build nests out of... or will they just destroy them too?
Bruno is doing so much better. He's going outside to the bathroom and walking much better. The only thing now is I have to monitor his water intake... he'll drink himself sick and pee all over the place.
I'm so happy to hear good news about Bruno! Unfortunately, many older dogs have trouble controlling pee. Einstein also has this problem ... so now I wash the floor much more often ...
Bruno seems to be doing well with it now he can go out. Before I had to keep an eye on him and stick a bowl under him.
