Meet all our animals and birds: Booba

I already talked a little about Booba. His story is one of the saddest. Booba lost one leg. We do not know how it happened. When people found it, his leg had already begun to rot and save it was impossible. So beautiful and proud bird was forever chained to the ground.

At first, Buba galloped pretty quickly on one leg. We even began to make optimistic plans that, perhaps, we can make him a prosthesis. But, unfortunately, nothing happened. Then it got worse. The second leg did not cope with the load and the foot began to lose shape.

We had to urgently transfer him from a large open-air cage to a small cage with a thick layer of straw in order to reduce the load on the foot.

But, despite the difficulties, Booba remains an amazing bird. He is very sociable, loves when we take him in hand and scratch his tummy.
