Good morning! Baby-kestrel is having his breakfast (video inside)
Baby-kestrel which came tonight is fine. He will stay in the shelter until he gets stronger and learn how to eat completely independently. After that he will be released to freedom. Although sometimes it happens that the bird does not want to fly away. What for? It is warm here, the food "appears" itself, it is not necessary to hunt.

Wow, these falcons in the US are widely regarded as the most beautiful falcons on the entire continent. Bird watchers travel for miles to see one and celebrate when they do. They were well on their way to extinction until action was taken to protect them. In my Grandma's day, she rarely, if ever saw one. My mother and I have started to notice their come back a bit, which is really exciting!
There are many, numerous people who have fought to keep this bird around and many more that find it absolutely fascinating.

Meat, on the video he eats cottage cheese. He is a predator and I have to feed him with meat, despite the fact that I'm a vegetarian. I can not change the nature.
