Logo Design Proposal for Resep Kue Kering Praktis [Task Request]

In this great opportunity I would like to continue my contribution in Utopian. I propose a new logo design for Resep Kue Kering Praktis as task request by the Project Owner @iqbalhood.
This app is designed to give you complete information on how to make simple and delicious cookie recipes. To be eaten with family, whether in a special moments and other big days or for a snack while drinking tea and coffee.
Alternate Version
As a request of the Project Owner @iqbalhood. I did some revision to my logo proposal and adding it to alternate version.
Benefits / Improvements
This new logo has many benefits, there are:
- Showing chef hat as recipe (resep) idea clearly
- Showing cookie element and combine with chef hat uniquely.
- Simple, fresh, and clean color combination.
- Colorful, fun, and eye-catching.
Tools
Using Adobe Illustrator CS6 to create the logo and presentation.
Using Adobe Photoshop CS6 to the mockup.

The project owner has chosen your logo as the best logo for his project.
The idea is nice and well executed. but the typeface is a bit off. maybe becasue the app name is quite long. as a suggestion, you should learn about "font kerning and tracking" to make the logotype looks better.
