De Gea behind Zidane resignation?

After Zidane's shock resignation from there has been much speculation about what caused the upset inside the Bernabeu. The truth may have finally been unearthed and it's not what you expected. Some suggested Zidane 'quit while he was ahead' after rumors unearthed that Bale and Ronaldo would be on the move. This idea had its holes however fit the bill quite well. Recent reports however show that Zidane and Perez disagreed on something many fans are torn on. Keylor Navas.

"Zidane always gave me a vote of confidence." Navas' position with Los Blancos has always been unsteady after Casillas' departure. Zidane was always behind Navas and repeatedly thwarted Perez's attempts at replacement keepers such as De Gea, Donnarumma and Courtois. After Zidane has now stepped down this is all set to change. Navas is currently eyeing a move to Chelsea after numerous reports are suggesting Courtois is destined back in Madrid.
