Raindrop Series - Golden Ball Cactus

During the raining season I always make it a point to visit the he Huntington Library, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. There is a lot o f opportunity for macro photography. My Favorite spot is the desert garden which is filled with cacti.

    this is such a beautiful and exotic photo. The sienna needles against the black and white blur is awesome and so artistic. I Love the "teardrops on needles soaked in blood" :)
