Memories
Recollections throughout my life blur away
As I supplant them with others.
They are overlooked and put away.
Despite the fact that the recollections are pushed to the side,
They are sheltered so I may recollect them later on.
Our psyche resembles a book;
It records vital things and keeps them between the pages until the end of time.
Perhaps our entire collection of recollections:
Our initial steps, first love, first anguish, and others
Were intended to be there for us to always remember.
