The toilet, toilet paper and the observant helper ........ the 19 month old has it down pat!
The three year old took to toilet training at two years old like a duck does to water. He has never had any accidents at home or at daycare.
'Quite remarkable,' exclaims his parents and both lots of grandparents with immense pride. "Our three year old has to be exceptionally bright!"
Although the three year old was by no means late with getting it right, his younger brother is definitely going to figure it out much earlier. I base my opinion on the fact that at 14 months he was already randomly using the potty.
It is all due to the 19 month old being the best observer. He can be found in the midst of the action no matter what, especially when the 3 year old rushes down the hallway with knees bent to do a 'wee' or yelling 'poo.' All industrious fun play activities come to a complete standstill as grandad, grandma and the toddler are close behind.
The mass migration down the hallway moves very fast! A bit like office workers at a grand central railway station rushing for the 6pm express!
Thankfully the concept of privacy and coyness does not kick in at the tender age of three. He happily and naturally accepts all help from his grandparents and the ever present younger brother, who by the way is tearing off the toilet paper to hand out.
This kid has it off pat!
But, I have drawn the line with our very clever 19 month old giving me a helping hand in the toilet. Got to love the beautiful innocence of toddlers who just take the essential life stuff in their stride.

Cheers and Blessings

Hi @lheluvbug and thank you
Cute story, Angie. Your sign at the bottom is so true. 😊 💕
Good morning Redheadpei, thank you and got to love little ones don't you? Rain has been falling again and we are so grateful. But it is not raining in the west where the farmers are desperate, sad.
