The bags are packed .......I think!

Our leaving day is here, we drive to Brisbane stay the night and then fly to Sydney early on Friday to board the international flight to Santiago in Chile.

All the organising, appointments, checklists and packing is finished. Well, I lie about the packing, I am checking to see if everything is in the bags. Just hate it when on the road or in mid air the mind realises that something did not go into the bags!



I plan to blog during my trip as long as wifi is available. It is a bit of an unknown so cross fingers! I can't wait to see the Shetland Islands in the Antarctic, to check out the penguins, the seals, the whales and the icebergs. Maybe I will see an albatross, they are magnificent birds.

It is my aim to enjoy watching the paddle boarders and the kayaking from the ship as I am not skilled in either. There is an organised spend a night in the snow activity for adventurous guests. I hear that it is already full. Good luck to these adventurous people. It sounds awfully cold and I hope they get some sleep.

The memories and photos will be always with them.
