Stark differences at the Sunshine Coast...

Depending on where one happens to be on the Sunshine Coast depends on what one sees. The contrast can be quite spectacular. I have taken 2 photos in the last 17 hours in two different locations. The interesting fact is the second scene is about 20 kilometres north of the first scene but is less than a kilometre inland from the beach. I am sharing the photos in this post to show the diversity that is found on the along the beach part of the Sunshine Coast Region.

Yesterday at about 5pm as I walked along this most inviting picture perfect sandy path to the ocean I took this photograph to store in my library. I always believe that a time to share appears not realising that the opportunity would present itself as quickly as it has.

This scene is one of my favourites; to me the little view of the ocean entices the walker to keep walking to the beach.



This morning I happened to be away from the ocean in another part of the Coast called Sunrise Beach and I could not help but notice how it looked like the bush. It was also looking very dry. There has been no rain for a few weeks. The dryness is not evident in the beach photo scene shows from yesterday afternoon.

The sharp contrast with the sandy path leading to the beach struck me as I stood there looking. Both scenes; the beach and country were impressive in different ways.
