I tell you about the reptile called crocodile
The crocodile lives in tropical places in Africa, North America, Central America, Australia or some areas such as Asia.
The crocodile moves very delicately almost dragging on the ground with its four legs, two front and two rear. The front ones have five fingers and the back ones only four. This helps the cocodridrile, along with its long tail, to maintain balance, something that would not be so easy due to its enormous size and weight.
We have always been able to see a large part of his life immobile in freshwater rivers, or in the mangroves of the saltwater beach. They adapt easily and will move from one habitat to another at will or according to their needs.
Animals that approach the water to drink. They are the easiest prey of crocodiles, especially mammals and birds, fish and others. When they are small they eat insects, spiders, frogs, snakes, thickets and other small vertebrates. And as long as you are adults, fish are a basis of your diet; when they are very voluminous, they come to hunt antelopes, zebras, warthogs, large domestic animals and even humans. They are able to ingest up to half their own weight in food.
The majority of the species of these crocodiles the reproductive cycle begins when the temperature begins to rise, that is to say when it is going to begin the spring or is next the summer. When the temperatures are high they activate their need to mate and that is when the male crocodiles begin to emit sounds and bellows in order to attract the females in order to mate with them. Usually it is always the biggest and strongest male who chooses which female he wants to reproduce with, although they always have huge peles with other males to check and the winner decides.
The female conodrilo when she is going to lay the fertilized eggs begins to create something like a nest form in which she will put an average of 41 eggs according to the species and incubate with great care, protecting them from possible predators. When the eggs are born, the young will stay with the mother for a period of half a year, which will be the time for them to leave their mother and their nest.
