The FOMC meet yesterday and decided to raise their target interest rate (fed funds rate) 25 basis points (1/4 of one percent) to a range between 1%-1.25%. This is a level it hasn't reached since the financial crisis. Please read this short review of this decision and I am here to answer any questions you might have.
