My favourite kind of landscape are the rocky cliffs which are naturally formed as a result of weathering and erosion.

Where the underlying rocks are more resistant to erosion, you get protrusions of land mass which take on the brunt of the crushing waves leaving quiet beaches sheltered from the refractive forces of constant waves smashing against the rocks.
