This river is very important for businessmen. Through this, many big business ships are used to travel to East Germany and western Germany.The bridge built on the river was built in 2003. It is the longest waterway in the world to run ships, which is about 1KM long.

Havel and Michelin land outside the city of Magdeburg flows in opposite directions. Therefore, these canals were taken together by the bridge over the river and they were merged into the Elbe River far from the city. Only then became a new way for ships.

The total cost of this project was Rs. 3566 crores. The construction of this bridge was to begin in 1930, but due to World War II it was not possible. The construction of this bridge began in 1997 and it was completed in 2003.
