เมื่อไม่กี่ชั่วโมงมีโอกาสเห็นข่าวนี้จาก CNBC ตีพิมพ์โดยอ้างคำพูดของ Peter Smith - CEO ของ Blockchain ว่าธนาคารกลางของประเทศต่างๆ เริ่มจะเข้าถือครอง Digital Currencies ในปี 2018 โดยเนื้อข่าว Highlight ว่าจะเป็น Bitcoin/Ethereum

โดยส่วนตัวแล้วรู้สึกทั้งดีใจและหวั่นใจ จะดีใจในแง่ของการที่ Digital Currency เกิดมีการยอมรับอย่างแพร่หลายเป็น Mass Adoption แต่ก็จะรู้สึกหวั่นๆเหมือนกันว่า ถ้าธนาคารกลางของกลุ่มประเทศ G7 นอกจากจะเข้ามาถือครองแล้ว จะเข้ามาควบคุมหรือกำหนดกฎเกณฑ์ต่างๆ คงจะทำให้วัตถุประสงค์หลักของ Bitcoin หรือ Cryptocurrency ผิดแปลกแต่งต่างออกไปที่ต้องการจะเป็น Decentralization ที่ไม่ได้มีคนหนึ่งคนใดมีอำนาจควบคุม
ที่จะหวั่นใจมากๆ คือเรื่องของราคา การคาดหวังจากกลุ่มคนใหม่ที่เป็น Newcomer ที่ไม่ได้เข้าใจเรื่องของ Blockchain Technology มองเห็นในแง่ของราคาว่ามันคงมีเเต่ขึ้นกับขึ้น ขายบ้าน ขายรถ กู้เงิน เอามาซื้อถือครอง เพราะแค่เห็นคนพูดถึง ทำเงินได้ ทำกำไรได้ ประเภท Make Me Rich Quick แต่ไม่ได้ฉุกคิดหรือมีสติว่า Bitcoin สามารถมีมูลค่าลดลงได้ภายในพริบตา
