Tina Fontaine.

She is litterally the reason the Child Services needs to be fixed in this country.

Today the man that (was accused) of killing her was found not guilty, which is a huge indictment of the court system considering they would litterally have to ignore all the evidence and his statements about the case.

But I want to look at what led to a 15 yr old being on the edge of the river getting raped by an adult who admits having sex with her but it didn't lead to her dying.

Tina was removed from her families house and the reserve where she grew up and put into a home that didn't care about her.

While in Foster Care... a place where she was supposed to be protected and watched, she was able to become addicted to drugs and sell her body to known pedophiles.

Keeping in mind the reason they took her from her mom was because the government felt the Foster system is better for her.

On the night she died.

She ran away. Not only that she called the police, she called the social services... looking for help. Looking for someone to come get her.

And they did nothing.

So she ended up unsupervised... where she was found by her killer... given drugs, booze and then raped.

I might be still angry from the verdict but I want to see why the foster parents weren't caring for her; maybe charged for taking the money to help her but letting her lose to the Wild.
