Kidney stone

Just letting people know where I was today.

Woke up with pain in the lower part of my back, on the left side.

Went to washroom and urine was dark.

First signs of a kidney stone so decided I would call my doctor and get help; His office advised to get to the ER.

Ended up with a tempature and vomiting just before I got there... I live half an hour away.

Blood test, x-ray and urine test later... plus throwing up again... it's a stone.

So on meds and relaxants.

I'll post more later.

Stones are just calcium or other chemicals hardening in the kidneys and they break lose so end up painfully moving through the tubes.

They hurt like hell but are usually harmless.
