My First Post on Steemit.

So this is my first post on Steemit. Honestly I don't really know what Steemit is all about; I have a general idea but ultimately I don't really know. The idea of a blockchain is baffling and befuddling to me; I can read about it all day but still I am clueless. It's as if I am trying to read Derrida or Foucault, the only difference being that those writing and trying to clarify what a blockchain is are not intentionally being obscurantist about it. Or maybe they are, again my ignorance is uncanny here.

Often I have ideas in my head and think about writing about them but when I go to write them my mind goes completely blank (well not completely blank, I just mean that suddenly I don't know what to write about and second guess my talents as a writer, which I am not). In fact I'm not sure that I have even used semicolons properly in this piece of writing.
