The ant is part of the great insect family. There are about 12,500 known species, but each year new ones are discovered. There is a great variety of sizes and colors of this insect.
The first thing you should know is that your body is very similar to that of bees and wasps.
They do not have an internal skeleton like humans. His "skin" is like an outer shell that makes him an exoskeleton (outer skeleton). Neither do they have lungs, and through the very small valves located in said casing enters the oxygen they need to live.
They have six legs that are born from their thorax. To climb or climb easily on any surface, at the tip of each of them has a small hook or claw.
His brain, in relation to that of other insects, is evidently very developed. This explains his extraordinary ability to solve construction problems and to organize his life.
The jaws of the ants are a formidable instrument within their anatomy. They use them almost for everything: crumble the food, transport materials, build, defend and fight with other ants.
These insects are extremely strong animals. One of the interesting curiosities of ants is that, with the help of their jaws they can lift up to a hundred times their own weight. Imagine that you could do it.
