weird.. they usually hang out in salt waters. Ocean birds they are.. Are you sure those are not swans?
I'm one hundred percent sure they are pelicans. There are about 50 of them that got lost and keep coming back to Lake Winnebago (freshwater) in Oshkosh WI US. Lake Winnebago does have a lot of fish to eat,maybe the birds like the fish.
