RE: Compulsory Schooling: Destroying Critical Thought, and Dumbing Down the Populous in Modern Times

in #informationwar5 years ago

I bounced back and forth from private to public school and finally quit my junior year. My children all went to public school but all of them struggled with the structure. They were taught at home to think for themselves. This did not work well in the system.
My Grandson has started this year in the public school system and I am hoping we can start to homeschool him next year. Private school is an option too, but all private schools in our area come with a religious indocurnation The is not much better.

Yeah...I think I'm onboard with the unschooling movement. If I have kids I want them to have practical skills, like building and fixing things, reading, growing food, natural medicine, and just guide and support them toward what they are passionate about.
