Video games have taken our culture over the last few decades, and as any cultural phenomenon could not be otherwise, the Video Game Day was created, a holiday which is celebrated on July 8th. The day was created to celebrates popular video games that stormed onto the market, changed the way kids play games and all it history, because video games just kept growing exponentially, until they now absolutely permeate our culture.

There is also the National Video Game Day an unofficial holiday which is celebrated on September 12th, both days are simply about celebrating with friends how entertaining video games can be, using old consoles or modern games, in the end the two days are a great excuse to spend some hours playing games with your friends.
