Perfect Man (Poem)
When I saw you arrive, the sunlight came by chance
You walked with elegance, you smiled with mischief
Your look encrucidated by life's experiences
Your voice hoarse when speaking made me blush
In my plans I was not falling in love
But seeing you I knew you were the one who struggled so hard to find
And when I was treating you, I fell in love
But cruel destiny for me had another play.
One day I saw you holding hands with a woman
You saw me and with excitement you greeted me
The woman introduced me as your wife
I had to excuse myself and say goodbye
I couldn't talk anymore, tears I wanted to throw away
My perfect man has a woman
In his happily ever after I am not present
It's my turn to forget my perfect man
And wait for fate to cross me with the right one.
