This is the world's most floating fish
The pressure within the ocean on the depth of five miles is 800 times more than the standard atmospheric pressure on the ocean. Therefore, only some special creatures survive in the depth of water. No fish has been able to float so deeply so far.
But recently a team of researchers from the University of Hawaii shot a snailfish fish video shot of an unknown species floating in a depth of 26,700 feet, which has become a new world record. This video shoot was performed in 30 days of a research expedition in the world's deepest sea trough, Mariana Trench.
This fish is completely different from the ordinary fish in appearance. Its wings are very big and the head looks like a cartoon character. For this discovery, researchers had to keep track of the depth of 16,400 to 34,700 feet for 105 hours continuously. The purpose of this research was to raise awareness and enthusiasm among the people living in the depths of the oceans, and to get information about new species.
Previous research did not provide such good results, because they only focused on the ecological conditions of them. This is exactly the same as to find samples of some clowns climbing on it without having to research about a mountain. For the first time there has been some research in the remote depth of the Mariana pit.
This research was published in the Journal of Research in Zutaxa by the name of Snellfish of Mariana in November 2017. Apart from this fish, some other species of aquatic animals have also been found. One of them is the rare superjoint amphipod. This species was first detected in the 2012 New Zealand coastal areas.
