Today is the day when we remember all the victims of the nazism and of the fascism: Jews, Homosexuals, Roma People, disabled, slavic minorities, Jehovah's Witnesses, Political Opponents and Intellectuals, war prisoners...
It's difficult to understand how things like this have happened in such recent history.
27th January. Holocaust Memorial Day. 72 years ago, the concentration camp Auschwitz was liberated by the troops of the Soviet Union. Between 1940 and 1945, around 1,1 million people were murdered there.
