Steemit has changed a lot
When I joined Steemit two years ago, things were very different and I could sense the positive energy around. It wasn't only about the voting, I remember things were easier and users enjoyed using the platform everyday.
The early adopters made good amount of Steem and SBD. Times flies fast and things changed a lot too with the voting, comments and users. I miss the old times.

Muchas cosas han cambiado @cristo, así como la ambición ha cambiado. Yo aun continuo apoyando a algunos usuarios, aunque eso se ha vuelto difícil por que tengo mucho SP como antes.
Pero tu y yo (que ya llevamos casi 2 años) seguimos aquí,por algo será. La respuesta a lo que está pasando en Steemit es clara: se está apostando por los SMT’s e Inversionistas para de ahí lanzar otros proyectos externos dejando a steemit solo como
Base de lo que viene a través de su Blockchain. La otra vez platicaba con una Ballena y ya me comentó que ni siquiera se dice steemit platform ya ahora es solo Steem. Me atrevo a decir que el concepto principal solo fue una prueba para lo que viene. No sé si sea bueno o malo, pero aqui seguimos y tambien es necesario expandir el contenido a las nuevas plataformas que van a llegar. “Evolve or Die” como dirían. Respecto lo de la gente que quiere dinero, lo dije desde hace un año se debe a la mala publicidad que se ha dado de steemit que vende la falsa posibilidad de hacerte millonario y por eso llega gente a solo pedir dinero y votos. Bueno en el SteemFest2 todo era sobre el SMT sin embargo, me parece que si empezaron con este proyecto por lo menos debieron dejarlo establecido y no a medias. Sabes que una de las cosas que mas me ha decepcionado es que los usuarios ya no leen lo que publicas y hay muchas cuentas falsas (bots), eso ha causado que muchos se hayan retirado. Nobody becomes a millionaire over night, of course, unless they play the lottery haha. 2 years is a huge amount of time for a social network. Although Steemit has changed a lot, there is still a lot of room for progress and rewards and the whole network is still pretty small (around a million users AFAIK) compared to others.
Yeap, users need to work hard to get something here. Hope things get better, cheers @arisinho
No puedo opinar sobre el tema porque solo llevo una semana y media jajaja, pero supongo que tienes razón por lo poco que he visto hay mucho interés y casi nadie se toma el tiempo de leer tus publicaciones, solo entran a mostrar su "apoyo" con un comentario rápido y e nota que no saben de que es el post en cuestión.
@edgrand Si han cambiado mucho desde que empezó, esperemos mejore. Extraño ciando los usuarios realmente se interesaban por tu contenido. Saludos

I meant, there was "real users" making comments, engaging and voting, nowadays we see tons of bots. @uwelang
I hear you - more bots for sure - engaging is fine for me - no major change, there never was a massive engagement on posts - people engage more off blockchain it seems :-).

now people come on steemit to earn money
it is now becomes earning platform rather than social media platform
I think users are making less money, unless you buy votes from a bots. Regarding to the social part, Steemit is lack of that. @thepaperboy
I don't like feeling envious, but I must admit that I wish I found Steemit a lot earlier than I did. I see huge potential in the platform, but have found it disheartening trying to compete with people paying for bot votes etc.

Realmente una expresión facial que lo dice todo! Debemos disfrutar de STEEMIT como ese medio serio y selecto en el que todos compartimos desde lo original de cada uno de nosotros. Gracias por tus post...son amenos.
