Hola comunidad de Steem aquí estoy yo con mi logro 3 de la comunidad de nuevos usuarios! esta vez he tardado un poco mas en juntarlo todo y entender de lleno como es que se deben referir las fuentes de textos e imágenes que utilicemos en nuestros post, algo que es esencial a la hora de que nuestros post tengan ese extra de valor en la plataforma, referenciar siempre formara una parte importante de mi viaje en Steem asi que mejor tarde que nunca para entender estos conceptos!

El plagio siempre es uno de esos temas polémicos que se tocan en una plataforma pero tiene una definición bastante simple según he leído, pero que abarca muchos otros elementos aparte que se pueden considerar también como plagio.

Según la Universidad de Chile:

El término plagio se define en el Diccionario de la Real Academia Española como la acción de «copiar en lo sustancial obras ajenas, dándolas como propias». Desde el punto de vista legal es una infracción al derecho de autor acerca de una obra artística o intelectual de cualquier tipo, en la que se incurre cuando se presenta una obra ajena como propia u original.

Hay otros autores que, por ejemplo, definen al plagio como "Usar el trabajo, las ideas, o las palabras de otra persona como si fueran propias, sin acreditar de manera explícita de donde proviene la información"
^Fuente y otros en mi opinión mas radicales engloban hasta las intenciones de un autor en el texto a la hora de denominar plagio a una obra.

Teniendo este concepto como base podemos pasar ahora a la forma correcta de como citar las fuentes de los post, normalmente no bastara si solo ponemos un texto diciendo que la fuente es de alguna pagina, tendremos que usar el formato de Markdown para poner un link directo hacia la fuente para que pueda ser verificada por los moderadores y curadores.

Algo gracioso que me sucedió con un moderador en mi publicación anterior de protocolo de contenido fue que @sumit71428 me indicó que por favor colocara las fuentes de las imágenes que tenia en mi publicación, las cuales ya estaban allí, pero como las coloqué al final, supongo que fácilmente pasaron desapercibidas, pero el con mucha humildad admitió no haberlas visto y yo razonablemente decidí no hacer un drama ya que errar es de humanos (ademas para que hacer un drama de algo tan simple?!). Saco esto a colación para resaltar lo importante de cumplir con el protocolo de la comunidad de Steemit.

Aunque en un principio mencionan que estas reglas no son obligatorias, estoy muy de acuerdo en cumplirlas ya que me parecen necesarias y razonables para una convivencia cordial y funcional en la Blockchain. Sobre todo estoy muy de acuerdo con las número 14 y 15.

En conclusión todos merecemos ser reconocidos o mencionados por el esfuerzo y tiempo que alguna vez dedicamos para la creación de algo y es muy injusto tomar el merito por ellos, además, es ilegal.

This time it took me a little longer to put it all together and fully understand how to reference the sources of texts and images we use in our posts, something that is essential when it comes to our posts having that extra value on the platform, referencing will always form an important part of my journey in Steem so better late than never to understand these concepts!

Plagiarism is always one of those controversial topics that are touched on a platform but it has a pretty simple definition as I have read, but it encompasses many other elements apart that can also be considered as plagiarism.

Having this concept as a basis we can now move on to the correct way of how to cite the sources of the post, normally it will not be enough if we just put a text saying that the source is from some page, we will have to use the Markdown format to put a direct link to the source so that it can be verified by the moderators and curators.

Something funny that happened to me with a moderator in my previous publication of content protocol was that @sumit71428 told me to please put the sources of the images I had in my publication, which were already there, but as I put them at the end, I guess they easily went unnoticed, but he very humbly admitted not having seen them and I reasonably decided not to make a drama because to err is human (besides why make a drama of something so simple?!). I bring this up to highlight how important it is to comply with the Steemit community protocol.
