Introduce Yourself with Croatia

Hello Steemers!
I deceide to make post serial about my country Croatia. Every week i will publish post with different region of Croatia. I will try to mention everything what is important and beautiful to see. On this way i want introduce you with my country which is wonderful and amazing.
Now i will just show you and tell a little bit about every region to interested you for Croatia:

DUBROVNIK

Dubrovnik is city on south of Croatia, all city is under UNESCO protection, also in Dubrovnik were filmed a lof of famous movies like Captain America, Robin Hood and still filming serie Game of Thrones, so this city attract and famous people like Elisabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Tom Cruise, Richard Gere, Owen Wilson...

DALMACIJA

Dalmacija or Dalmatia is region on seacost of Croatia. It countains a lot of popular tourist destinations like Split which is second city by population, Zadar which was Top Europe destination in 2016, Šibenik, a lot of islands, national parks, beaches...

LIKA

Lika is i would say mountain and snowly part of Croatia. It is also famous for national parks, rivers, forrests and Velebit which is lagrest mountain in Croatia. Lika biodiversity is considered one of the richest in Europe.

ISTRA

Istra or Istria is largest peninsula located in west of Croatia. It is famous in tourism because of romanian buildings, national parks, beaches and wonderful cities like Rijeka, Pula, Poreč, Umag...

ZAGREB AND CENTRAL CROATIA

Capital city Zagreb is hiding behind the Medvednica hill in the central part. Zagreb get award 3 years in row for best advent in Europe. Central Croatia is famous by castles, rivers, old towns...

MEĐIMURJE

Međimurje is on north of croatia. It borders with Slovenia and Hungary. In one city in called Krapina in Međimurje were found bone remains in caves, exploring these bones scientists have concluded that the history of humans in Krapina lived 120.000 to 50.000 years ago.

SLAVONIJA

Slavonia is agricultural region which is located in east of Croatia between 2 big rivers. Osijek, Vinkovci, Vukovar, Slavnski Brod are just some of cities in those beautiful part of Croatia. Slavonian people are famous for folk costumes, music (tamburice), sausages...
