Hey Steemians, hope you are having a wonderful time.I guess you all know about @zeartul,@bellyrub scam; it took me a while longer to know story as i wasn't around in Steemit for over a month.
Searching for bots that pay when you send bid to increase payout on your posts, i stumbled upon @bellyrubbank and then @zeartul. He was around in Steemit for over an year, a witness and many influential steemians in his follower list, i guessed it would be a safe bet to invest in his venture @bellyrubbank @ 40% ROI. Cool
The first month went fine and infact he made the payment too, the interest for the first month was 11.250SBD
Then the 2nd month payment date arrived but the payment wasn't credited but i was still like maybe wait for a while...
And waited forever to get a response from him in Steemit.chat. I still didnt know that he ran away with all the money until i saw couple of posts circulating @zeartul/bellyrub scam ...Damn bye bye SBD300.
I almost lost hope to recover any of the funds but just out of curiosity to know what exactly happened i started reading through and then when i read about the compensation scheme by @neoxian, i was like why would he compensate for @bellyrub scam, had a quick chat with him, amazing guy! @neoxian shared that he kinda endorsed @zeartul coz of which many people had invested with @bellyrubbank, so he is giving it back to the investors. I mean not many people would do that.
Many thanks for you help man and giving back over 40%of my inital. You could have chose not to do it but really appreciate it man @neoxian.
