Tulsi plant or Holy Basil plant
Tulsi or Holy Basil (Scientific name: Ocimum tenuiflorum) is a sacred plant in Hindu belief. Hindus regard it as an earthly manifestation of the goddess Tulsi; she is regarded as a great worshipper of the god Vishnu.
Medicinal value of Tulsi (Holy Basil) is very important herbs and has many medicinal applications. Tulsi is used in the treatment of various diseases. Basil plant and its various parts are used in case of insect bite, fever, cardiac diseases, gynecological disorders, respiratory problems, skin disorders, etc.
