Turkey responds to Russian attack by reinforcing Idlib

BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:00 P.M.) - The Turkish military is working on reinforcing its observation outposts in northern Syria before the long-awaited Idlib offensive kicks off.
A fresh convoy for the Turkish Army has recently entered Syria from the Hatay Province for this exact purpose, pro-opposition activists reported.
The convoy transported concrete walls and fortifications to their observation post near Morek in northern Hama countryside.
While the Syrian Army told Al-Masdar that they do not plan on attacking Morek at this time; it appears the Turkish military is not taking any chances by leaving this area undefended.
In June of this year, Turkey setup 12 observations posts in northern Syria as per Astana talks with Russia and Iran.
The Syrian and Russian air forces have already begun their heavy bombardment of the Idlib Governorate; their ground forces are expected to attack in the coming days.
