Noah Webster's Birthday

Toady is Noah Webster's birthday. Known as the "Father of American Scholarship and Education" we most often think of him when we pick up a dictionary.

Webster was also a voice during the American Revolution. He wrote articles for a New England newspaper which argued in support of the American Revolution and he felt that the complete separation from Britain was necessary.
