RED BEENS WITH SACRAMENTS

  • 400g of red beans
  • 400g ham sausage
  • 300g of blood sausage
  • 200g fresh chorizo
  • 150g of bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil

Preparation


1.- The previous night, soak the red beans. It is not necessary to add salt or bicarbonate. Only that they are well covered with water

2.- The next day, in a pot, put the beans, a drizzle of oil, the onion cut into strips and the green pepper cubed. Cover it well with water. You can even use the water you have used to let the red beans soak. Salt and let cook around 3 hours. If you use a fast pot, about 45 minutes from the moment you raise the valve.

4.- After half the cooking time, add the chorizo, the bacon and the chopped ham sausage. We let cook another hour more. (20 minutes if using a quick pot)

5.- When there is about 30 minutes left for the beans to be done, add the blood sausage. Do not do it before, because if you do not get rid of it. Let everything cook until the red beans are soft.

6.- We serve. We put the beans on one plate and the sacraments on another. Let the diners go throwing them to your liking.
