Inverted cake with caramelized plums

Ingredients

• 2 eggs;
• 300 g of sugar;
• pinch of vanillin;
• 80 ml of milk;
• 150 g of butter;
• 2 teaspoons baking powder;
• 200 g of sifted flour;
• 600 g of plum.
  
  

Preparation

With a mixer, turn the eggs into a thick foam. Pour 200 g of sugar and whisk until creamy consistency. Add vanillin, milk, 120 g of melted butter, baking powder and flour. Mix the homogeneous dough.

Cut the plums in half and remove the bones. In a saucepan, put 30 g of butter and melt on moderate heat. Add 100 g of sugar, mix and cook until the weight turns brown.

Cover the bottom of the mold with parchment. Spread the caramel on the bottom, pour the plums downwards and pour in the batter.

Bake the cake in a preheated oven for up to 180 ° C for about an hour. It may take a little less time. So check the readiness of the toothpick: it should come out of the pie dry.

Before taking the dessert out of the form and turning it over the dish, cool it for 20-30 minutes.
